Francisco Gonzales was a Filipino sailor who competed in the 1960 Summer Olympics hosted by Rome, Italy from 25 August to 11 September 1960. Together with Fausto Preyster and Jesus Villareal, Gonzales participated in the Dragon event of the sailing/yachting program with boat name Patricia.

After his Olympic run, Gonzales moved to San Francisco, United States, where later on his wife will request a divorce and fell into debt. Gonzales, on 6 May 1864, flew to Nevada for casino, and was already on his return flight the next day, 7 May. This is where he became known as the mass murderer of Pacific Air Lines Flight 773.
