Claro Pellosis was a sprinter who competed at the 1960 and 1964 Summer Olympics.

At the 1960 Rome Olympic Games, he competed in heat six in the men’s 400m but he failed to qualify for the quarter-finals. He competed again in the 1964 Tokyo Olympics in the 4 × 100m Relay event. The Philippine team finished 7th in heat 3 and did not move to the semifinals.

Despite being more reputed in the 400m event, he was part of the 4x100m relay team that won the gold medal for the Philippines at the 1962 Asian Games.
By 2003, Pellosis was already a director of athletics events. In 21 July 2019, Pellosis died after suffering a cardiac arrest.
