Benjamin Evangelista was a cyclist. who competed in the individual pursuit at the 1968 Summer Olympic Games in Mexico City. Only 19 years old, he completed the 4,000-meter Individual Pursuit in 5 minutes and 22.12 seconds.
He also participated in four Asian Cycling Championships held in South Korea, Singapore, Tokyo, and the Philippines from 1968 to 1977. He also took part at the 1974 World Cycling Championships in Canada with Maximo Junta, Rolando Hiso, and Rolando Guavez.
