Amman Jalmaani was a swimmer who competed in the 1964, 1968 and the 1972 Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo, Mexico City, and Munich. He was one of few Filipino swimmers to have qualified and competed in three editions of the Olympic Games.

At the age of 15, he participated in his first Olympic Games at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. He competed in the men’s 200m Breaststroke event and came in 24th place. Four years later, he participated again in the Olympic Games. He competed in four events at the 1968 Summer Olympics. The Philippine team placed
14th in the men’s 4 × 100 m Freestyle Relay event and 16th in the 4 × 100 m Medley Relay.

Jalmaani placed 17th in the 100 m Breaststroke and 28th in the 200 m Breaststroke. He participated in the Olympic Games for the third time in 1972 and competed in three events. He placed 21st in the men’s 100 m Breaststroke and 28th in the 200 m Breaststroke. The Philippines placed 16th in the men’s 4 × 100 m Medley Relay. Jalmaani also participated at the 1966 Asian Games where he won two bronze medals and the 1970 Asian Games, winning two silver medals.
