Fernando Garcia was a wrestler and a judo player who represented the country twice in the Olympic Games – first in 1964 in Tokyo, Japan; and second in 1972 in Munich, Germany.
In the 1964 Olympics, Garcia competed in the Greco-Roman Wrestling and Freestyle events. He was both under the middleweight class.
In the 1972 Olympics, however, he competed in two judo events, namely half-heavyweight and open class. He finished 13th and 1th respectively.
