Edwin Borja was a swimmer who competed in the 1972 Summer Olympics and the 1976 Summer Olympics.

At the young age of 14, he competed in his first Olympic games. He finished 41st place in the men's 1,500 metres freestyle event and 14th place in the 4 × 200 metres Freestyle Relay event.

He competed again in the 1972 Summer Olympics, where he finished 44th place in the men's 400 metres Freestyle, 28th place in 1,500 meters Freestyle, 32nd place in 200 meters Butterfly, and 30th place in the 400 metres Individual Medley event.
