Edgardo Maerina was a Filipino rower who competed in the men’s single sculls event at the 1988 Summer Olympics hosted by Seoul, Korea.

He continued his career in rowing as the head coach of the Philippine National Rowing team, where in 2019, he led his team in bringing one gold medal, two silver medals, and one bronze medal from the Asian Rowing Coastal Championships in Thailand. They also bagged three gold medals during the 30th SEA Games.
