Mario Almario was a sailor who participated in the sailing event of the 1972 Summer Olympic Games in Kiel, Germany.
He placed 26th in the Soling category which was one of the two new categories introduced in the 1972 Games. He worked with Alfonso Qua and Ambrosio Santos as the Philippine boat's crew members.
Almario also took part in the 1976 Summer Olympics in Kingston, Ontario where he placed 28th in the Finn category. His last Olympic appearance was in the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona in the Soling with Juan Miguel Torres and Teodorico Asejo as fellow crew members. They placed 24th.
