Bea Lucero was a Filipino athlete who competed for the Philippines in the 1992 Olympics under the demonstration sport, taekwondo. She bagged the bronze medal in the featherweight division in Barcelona, with fellow bronze teammate Stephen Fernandez who also won a bronze medal.
Before switching to Taekwondo, Bea was an artistic gymnast. She won her first SEA Games medal in 1985 after topping the balance beam competition in Bangkok. Lucero brought home 2 gold medals & 3 silver medals during the 1987 Southeast Asian Games held in Jakarta. She shifted to taekwondo after failing to qualify for the 1988 Seoul Olympics because of her age.
