Abel Tesfamariam is an Eritrean-Filipino alpine skier based in Geneva, Switzerland.
He represented the Philippines at the 2012 Youth Winter Olympics in Innsbruck, Austria. At the age of 17, he competed in his first Olympic games. In the giant slalom event he had a recorded time of 1:04.13 and ranked 37th among 39 skiers who finished. Unfortunately, he didn’t finish in the second run of the slalom event.
