Ana was the first Philippine female alpine skier to successfully finish this competition. Participating in and finishing the JWC competition in February qualified her to race in the 2020 Winter YOG.
Her first high level competition to look forward to will the 2020 Winter Youth Olympic Games in Lausanne, Switzerland on January 9-22, 2020.
She was the first Filipina to qualify to compete at the Winter Youth Olympic Games.
Prior to qualifying for the Winter Olympics, Ana Wahleithner competed in several skiing competitions, among them, the international alpine skiing competition in Cardrona, New Zealand, and the Alpine Skiing Junior World Championship (JWC) in Val Di Fassa, Italy.
