Remedy Alexis Rule is a Filipina swimmer who has broken multiple records for the Philippines in international swimming events. She started representing the country in 2019 at the World Aquatics Championships women’s 50-meter freestyle event. During this event, Rule was also able to break the Philippine national record set by Jasmine Alkahldi at 1:01.00 in the 2015 Southeast Asian Games in Singapore by clocking 1:00.42. Aside from that, the notorious swimmer was also able to participate in the 2019 Southeast Asian Games where she garnered two silver medals. It was in the same competition where Rule broke the record in the 200-meter butterfly event than gold winner Quah Jing Wen of Singapore at 2:12.03 by clocking 2:11.38 where she also finished as a bronze medalist. In addition, she also holds a national record of 2:09.58 in the 200-meter butterfly event in the 2020 TYR Pro Swim Series in Des Moines Iowa.

Rule represented the Philippines in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics together with fellow swimmer Luke Gebbie where Rule competed in the 200-meter freestyle and 200-meter butterfly races. She finished 15th in the women’s 200-meter butterfly event, clocking at 2:12.89. After competing in the Olympics, Remedy Rule plans to put her professional swimming career on hold in order to pursue her Master's Degree of Professional Science in Marine Biology.
